It’s time to get your garden ready! Spring is in the air, and it’s time to prepare for your spring gardening! Although, we’re well into March there are a few things you can do to get ready for the blooming season. There are all different kinds of gardens and we’ve seen some tenants get creative with their gardens. It’s important to create a checklist for your garden and prepare appropriately for the climate in your area, and the size of the area you have available for your garden. Gardening is a wonderful hobby, and can be done whether you’re in a  space with a lovely backyard or a condgardeno with hardscape patio. If you’re occupying a rental property, and have permission from the property manager to manage the gardening of the property, it’s a great idea to know the best plants for the weather where you live and also what fits into your budget. Maintaining an extensive garden can be pricey, and often difficult to maintain. Here in the state of California, there are several resources to assist with selecting plants that are appropriate for our climates, such as the California Native Plants Society. When gathering ideas, we thought we’d peruse the internet for the best tips and trick and we found a great article on one of our favorites to share with our friends and neighbors from Houzz.com. The fabulous thing about this piece is that it’s area friendly, and even if you aren’t one of the very lucky Southern California residents, you can find a Gardening Checklist thats right for your location!
